Christian Schmitz

Christian Schmitz was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Selecta Group in May 2020, after five months as Interim Chief Operating Officer and having been appointed to the Group's Board in April 2020. Christian was previously a Partner at McKinsey&Company and a Director at KKR’s Private Equity Operations team.

Roland Ludwig 

Roland Ludwig, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO), joined Selecta in November 2020. He has led digital transformation programs at Accenture and Capgemini. In his former roles, Roland was the CIO of Triumph and responsible for the global IT unit and technology operations, servicing Retail, Wholesale and eCommerce channels and has great experience in IT transformation and digitalisation.

Chris Howarth

Chris Howarth joined Selecta as Group CHRO in January 2025. With over 20 years at Novartis, he has held senior roles such as Global Chief People Officer and Head of HR for Europe. Chris has lived and worked in the UK, USA, China, Greece, and Switzerland. He is passionate about HR strategy, talent and leadership development, and driving transformative change.

Jan Marck Vrijlandt

Chief Commercial Officer Jan Marck Vrijlandt bringing 26 years of experience at Selecta. Jan Marck possesses in-depth knowledge of our business through his numerous Group, country and operational leadership roles that few in the organization can match. His experience, in combination with his flair for commercial innovations and passion for the business and our associates, make him perfectly positioned to lead this key function at Selecta.

Jens van Beusekom

Jens van Beusekom, Chief Procurement Officer joined Selecta in January 2021, bringing extensive experience within national and international purchasing and category management in food retailing, including supermarket chains Kaufland and Plus. He has negotiated A-brand suppliers, tendered international procurement ranges and he also managed purchasing departments and implemented strategies across several countries.

Nicole Charrière-Roos

Nicole Charrière Chief Financial Officer joined Selecta Group as Group Finance Director in October 2019. Previously, Nicole gained 18 years of experience at KPMG Switzerland, where she was most recently a Director. She served listed Swiss based companies and has gained broad finance expertise while acting as Interim Group CFO and leading complex capital market transaction projects. Nicole is a certified Swiss Expert for Audit, Tax and Fiduciary.

Jasprit Sahnsi

Group General Counsel Jasprit Sahnsi, an experienced legal professional with over 20 years of expertise in private practice, private equity, and publicly listed companies, has been contributing her expertise to Selecta Group since 2018. Known for her dynamic and versatile approach and skilled in tackling legal challenges at all levels within an organization. Her ability to take initiative and provide creative solutions, along with influencing decisions, makes her a valuable asset and earning respect from senior executives.

Paul Hearne

Paul joined Selecta in 2018 through the acquisition of a UK-based vending company, where he played a pivotal role in its growth over nearly two decades. Starting as a Sales Graduate, he advanced to Country Leader, leading the company’s success in the FoodTech sector across the UK and Ireland. With experience in the US, Zimbabwe, and the UK, Paul is passionate about leadership, sales, and business growth. Since January, he has been leading the Region North at Selecta.

Jean-Christophe Bugeon

In July 2022, JC Bugeon assumed leadership of Selecta France, driving a successful realignment through business restructuring, portfolio optimization, and a focus on growth segments. In January 2025, he was appointed head of the new Selecta Italy-France-Spain region, combining these markets to drive efficiency through shared typologies and management practices.
